From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801
BuildID: 2001080104

Instead of leading to a successful login (as it does with Netscape 4.77),
attempting to login in with my bank card number and password leads to page that
displays an error message.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.cibc.com
2. Type in bank card number and password. (requires CIBC bank account with
telephone and internet banking access activiated)
3. Click the "sign on" button.

Actual Results: The link leads to a page that says:

"We are sorry...

This page cannot be viewed with the method you've chosen. Please use the button
below to go to the sign on page (Ref. #R690)."

Expected Results: A page listing several internet banking options, including
bank balances, transactions, bill payments, etc, should be displayed.

I believe this may be due to insufficient incryption/security features in the
latest version of the browswer. Banks are very particular about security.
In fact this may be related to Bug 89566 where https://-Forms won't work

Unfortunately I'm unable to connect to above URL
can you try with the newest nightly? If i enter bogus info, it seems to work
(got a error page about my info being wrong)
There is already a Tech-Evangelism bug about this. It seems that the site just
doen't support mozilla-based browsers yet.

Reporter if you disagree you can re-open.
