Steps to reproduce:
1. Load the file I will attach.
2. Expand the tree from the bottom to the top by clicking on the twisties (Skins
then New Functionality then Bug Fixes then Security).
3. Collapse the very top element. (Security)
Boom, Mozilla crashes.
Now, off find out how to use the outliner. :) (Any good URLs for Tutorials,
please email me)

This is, of course, one and the same with bug 86723 -- "Preference dialog
crashes when changing category twisties", but, hey, this one has a very
simple testcase, separated out from the rest of the dialog, so I'll let
hyatt figure out if he wants to keep this one. We should fix this soon (i.e.,
not 1.0 as 86723 is scheduled).
Yep yep, one and the same.

This should go away once the prefs window is switched from tree to outliner.
Except of course that won't help Mike.

hyatt, what's the best course of action for Mike?
The "tree" that I am really using has > 1 column, which someone here told me I
should be using an outliner for (instead of a tree).
If someone has a good URL for a tutorial for an outliner, I'm willing to move to
it, however I have yet to find an example of an outliner that is not populated
from RDF.
