User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140130123732 Expected results: An IETF standard allow to sync notes: Caldav (see http://caldav.calconnect.org/ ). I guess the major part of the implementation can be found and re-used from the Gaia::Calendar app. I can't understand why the Gaia:Calendar app stopped before offer this functionnality, it was only an other view listing the events. Lot of open source clients allow to use notes/task/todo management over CalDav, you can see the Lightning extension for Thunderbird, or the Task tab in the Owncloud software (that can also act as a server). My personal point of view: Once again, as in the Gaia::Contact app, I can't understand why a proprietary service is proposed to the user instead of an open standard protocol, in an Official app. The user have no choice, no alternative. It was Facebook, now it's Evernote. Are you kidding me? The Evernote service in implemented in place of a open standard. Firefox is not designed to invite the users to put their data on servers under the USA Patriot Act law, in the NSA country, but you, Mozilla, are doing it. Have you read "Where Does My Data Go?" on this page?? https://evernote.com/legal/tos.php What is this **** markting language I hear each time Mozilla speak about Firefox OS so? I'd rather prefer to see no sync instead of this.
