Details

[Tested with 2001-09-07-21 on Linux, but I've seen this for a long time]

Steps to reproduce:

1) Go to http://www.nvidia.com/

Result: The Default Plugin dialog shows up briefly but then vanishes behind the
browser window.

Expected result: The Default Plugin dialog should be shown on top until I click
OK or Cancel.

I'm running FVWM 2.4 as my window manager on top of XFree86 4.1.0.
I guess "XP Apps: GUI Features" is a more appropriate component.
Component: Plug-ins → XP Apps: GUI Features
I can reproduce this exact behaviour on Linux with build 2001090906 (Flash plug-
in not installed).
WFM Win2k 20010905 (no flash). I just see a standard "click here to get the
plugin" box. No popup window at all.
Is this a dupe of the "windows steal focus" bug ?
And that would be bug number...?
Bug 97067.
I don't think this bug is a dupe of 97067. For one thing, that but is OS: All
while this bug is Linux-only.
Definately not a dupe of that bug, because it doesn't even happen on my box.
Depends on: 83754
Here is another testcase:

I'm going to resolve this as invalid.
First of all, default plugin will be replaced soon bug 83754
and second, that dialog is not a modal one and it is not suppose to be on top of
parent, actually you do not have to pay any attention to that dialog at all
(it'll disappear automatically
when you leave a page), unless you want to download a plugin, in this caseclick
on the puzzle icon will bring up that dialog.
Ok. I'll have to accept that.
