Steps to reproduce:
Install Thunderbird, "Provider for Google Calendar", "Lightning".
Configure some remote calendars (google and others).
Start Thunderbird, synchronize calendars. You will be asked for your accounts password. It doesn't matter if you set "store password" or not. You will be asked once for every calendar you've configured.
Quit Thunderbird. Start Thunderbird. You will be asked again for your password for every callendar you've configured.
Actual results:
s.o.
Expected results:
Being asked once for every account, password being stored and reused connecting next time.

I've noticed the dialog asking for the first time for userid and password is different from the one show if you cancel the first one shown. Answering the second dialog leads to only answering once for each session. You will not be asked again over and over for every synchronisation.
The first dialog asked will clear the password, the second one will set it again. For me it looks like there are two different routines asking for the password: one with an error dissalowing password storage and a second working.

There has been a major rewrite of the Provider for Google Calendar between version 0.32 and 1.0. A vast number of bugs have been fixed during this rewrite, therefore I am closing lots of old bugs that I think might either be fixed or no longer apply to the latest version.
Please read the updated FAQ [1] for details on known issues. If you can reproduce your issue with the latest version of the Provider for Google Calendar and you can't find an existing bug that handles your case, please reopen this issue.
Thank you for your understanding.
