The URL bar does not automatically complete addresses as it used to.
Seen for the first time in 0.9.4

Works for me using Mac/2001091311 (0.9.4). Reporter, can you reproduce this using a 
newly-created Mozilla user profile?

0.9.4 has new advanced preferences for URL bar autocompletion. See

Edit -> Preferences -> Navigator - Smart Browsing -> Enable Location bar
autocomplete -> Advanced -> Autocomplete best match as you type

Reopen the bug if that does not solve your problem.

description of what's not working for you and steps to reproduce.

I've just tried a new profile and it is working correctly. However, If I go back
to my old profile it stops working. If I switch back to 0.9.3 and use the old
profile it all works fine. Perhaps it's something in the way the settings are
read from the profile that stops it working with my old profile.

Ian, in my time as mozilla tester I have hosed dozens of profiles and
encountered the strangest bugs that disappeared with a new profile.
Unfortunately mozilla releases are not 100% profile compatible. It is still beta
software, we all have to live with that. The next time you report a bug go
through the gymnastics we all go through: Create a new profile and see if the
problem is still there. For bonus points download the latest nightly build and
see if the problem appears there (with a fresh profile, of course).
