100086 - Exit should show confirm dialog

Control-Q (Exit) should show a confirm dialog as in Communicator 4.x
As the keys W and Q are neighbors, it is very easy to close all windows
instead of the current one.

Yes, it seems to be similar to bug 39057. 
But my point was not if it makes sense to have an exit menu entry (imho it makes
no sense).
My point was, that it is very easy to press ^Q instead of ^W and this is
devastating because of the missing confirm dialog (that exists in Communicator).
So the solution of the bug would be to introduce a confirm dialog.

Jürgen: This bug is marked a dupe of bug 39057, but many other bugs are also
marked as dupes of that one: Bug 41408 ("file -> quite closes all windows
without warning"), Bug 51584 ("Show warning dialog when user selects `File' >
`Exit'/`Quit'"), Bug 57755 ("[RFE] Confirmation dialog before closing all
windows on exit"), Bug 58865 ("Ctrl-Q exit shortcut should ask for
confirmation"), and more...

So, I think it's reasonable to conclude that this bug is also a dupe of bug
39057. Personally, I don't disagree with you, and I think one compromise could
be to include an option in preferences for this. However, it appears that the
Mozilla team has decided against that.
