Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140317233623 Steps to reproduce: Firefox use is made more efficient and productive if Tabs are stacked vertically on the side of the screen instead of horizontally across the top of the screen. due to 16:9 screen prevalence, more space is also created horizontally in the browsing window by stacking tabs vertically instead of horizontally. Actual results: although an extension exists called Side Tabs (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/side-tabs/?src=search), the extension's implementation is less than ideal. Its color scheme does not match firefox's. Its operation is also not seamless. For example, if user has a long list of tabs open necessitating the appearance of a scrollbar, pressing Alt+9 (Ctrl+9 in Windows OS) to move to the last open tab does not auto-scroll the scrollbar. Also no Incognito mask is shown to indicate when a user is in Private-Browsing mode. Still further, some websites do not work properly with the Side Tabs extension. users are forced to scroll horizontally on some websites even though the webpage fits fine in the space provided. Expected results: Mozilla should have SideTabs as a native feature-option of Desktop-Firefox. SideTabs are awesome in Mobile-Firefox. They should be offered in Desktop-Firefox as well.
