Details
There are some moving parts to this. I did a preliminary test... see the URL.
See the link below the video on the event page.
But that required sidestepping the Vid.ly player. I'll file a service ticket with Vidly and see if they have a way to make it work for all the different versions of a video.

Note to self: Try to use http://amara.org/en/profiles/account/ and the API key there to upload videos and then to later download their srt files.
