Steps to reproduce:

when use new cache backend and set Clear history when Firefox closes, process won't exit (still appear on windows task manager) after application close.

We know it's slow.  There is a tentative plan to spawn a new helper process that will take care of the cache and let the browser process exit.

Just for curiosity, how long does it take to delete for you and after how long time you exit the browser?

It's not about the speed. Even exit the browser in less than 1 minute, this may happen. And this problem happens, the cache2 folder is empty.
But I can't reliably reproduce this.

open the browser，disable an addon, close the browser. If all are done in a short time, it's more likely to reproduce the problem.
