Details

On Linux, when you close the sidebar, the grippy doesn't show up which makes it
impossible to open.  This is happening in both Messenger and the browser and
isn't happening on Windows.

I'm not sure if this is a js problem or a layout problem.

Steve, I'm going to reopen this because it's been pointed out to me that even
though 9927 might be the cause of this, it doesn't track this bug.  So, I'm
going to mark this as depending on 9927 rather than being a duplicate.

Let me know if you disagree with this.  Adding lchiang to cc list so this gets
tracked by the mailnews team as well.
