Steps:
1. Start installer, select Custom installation.
2. Follow the steps till Select Program Folder dialog appears.
3. Enter some double-byte characters in Program Folder input box, like attached 
files (the characters are entered using Phonetic and Korean (Hangul) 
IME). 

Actual: 
The double-byte characters entered are corrupted.

We really need to compile apps as an Unicode.

problem on SCH OS can be addressed by bug 126744 and problem with korean
characters on KO os can be addressed by bug 126752
I think both roy and me are off mozilla for more than 2 years. If these bugs are
still here now, I think the real stauts is 'won't fix'. If you want to reopen
it, please find a new owner for it first.

Aha. thanks. Does it use NSPR APIs? Or does it directly use platform-specific
APIs? If it uses NSPR APIs, it depends on bug 162361.
