Added in Thunderbird 31 is the option to play a sound when a message is directed to you in a chat. The label to configure this sound reads "Default system sound for new mail", which is probably copied from the general options. The text is wrong for a chat notification. It should probably read "Default system sound for notifications" or something like that... mail/chrome/messenger/preferences/general.dtd: systemsound.label "Default system sound for new mail" systemsound2.label "Default system sound for notifications" ?
