Build id: 2001091705 If you launch netscape and then close the browser window and quit the program then launch netscape again, the instant messenger icon will disappear from the status bar. Reproducibility: Everytime Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Netscape by double-clicking the netscape 6 icon 2. Close only the window that opens 3. Quit out of Netscape 4. Launch Netscape again Actual Results: The Netscape instant messenger icon will disappear from the status bar in the bottom right. Even though the icon is gone if you click where it should be, the IM will launch. Expected Results: I would expect the NS instant messenger icon to always be in the status bar in the bottom right.
Forgot to add that this is Mac OS X specific
OS: All → MacOS X
Are you talking about Netscape 6.x or about Mozilla ? Netscape &.x problems and bugs should be reported at http://home.netscape.com/browsers/6/feedback/problem.html
TucsonTester2, this is one of those bugs that only applies to Netscape 6, and is not relevant to Mozilla since Instant Messenger functionality is not included in Mozilla. This bug must be moved to Bugscape. Marking INVALID for now.
