Details

Hi,

There have been some reports from users at SUMO and Input about a "Browser unsupported" error message when accessing certain sites.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Access http://www.kpnvandaag.nl/

EXPECTED RESULTS:
The webpage should load normally

ACTUAL RESULTS:
An error "Browser unsupported" appears. It seems that the user can continue browsing normally after clicking ok. I understand it is probably an issue with the website, but can we do anything to circumvent this?

VERBATIMS:
https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/?q=unsupported&date_end=2014-04-30&date_start=2014-04-23
https://support.mozilla.org/pt-BR/questions/997564

Thanks in advance for the help!
This seems to be an issue with backbase's library ( www.backbase.com ). Because of the minification in their library, I'm not really sure why it's throwing this error. I have an old colleague that used to work for them, I'll ask them if they can put us in touch with folks that are still at backbase.

Email has been forwarded to their CTO, and at the suggestion of my colleague, I also tweeted @backbase . Let's hope they get back to us soon - those SUMO responses are not good. KPN is one of the larger telcos in the Netherlands, most people using them (e.g. my dad!) don't customize the homepage their software provides (http://www.kpnvandaag.nl ), and this isn't exactly how we'd have liked their first experience with 29 to have gone...
https://twitter.com/backbase/status/461839850401189888 indicates this should hopefully be fixed soon. :-)
