User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140421221237 Steps to reproduce: 1. Open an app with a text field 2. Open the keyboard (The caps lock should be enabled as expected) 3. Very quickly types two or more letters Actual results: The two (sometimes more) first letters are in uppercase. Expected results: Only the first lettre should be in uppercase. This is a performance issue since when we type slowly the caps lock has enough time to disable. It's worse when the keyboard has just been open like quickly starting to type after tapping in a text field.
This is one of the biggest pet peeves of dogfooders in the paris office. I can see this a lot after in the SMS app (on a Peak but dogfooders on other devices see this too).

Related to bug 987909 potentially?
(In reply to Jason Smith [:jsmith] from comment #3) > Related to bug 987909 potentially? Actually not that bug # - meant to say bug 987809.
QA Wanted to check 1.4.

I'm positive this happens on 1.4 too (but my build is nearly 1 month old now, so might make sense to check a newer buid).
Jason, most probably bug 987809, yes.

Clear the nomination since bug 987809 is 2.0+ and we have a patch to tackle this issue. Thanks.
