User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140421221237 Steps to reproduce: waited forever 8) for firefox 29 to come out to fix my other bugs Actual results: bookmark star was moved way off into oblivion to play catchup with the lower, less useful GUI's out there (seriously! I watched the video that documented this buggy thinking!) so that I can no longer tell at a glance whether the current URL is bookmarked or not. Expected results: I understand that you need to repeat the bad decisions of the competition to attract new users over, but you've also removed the ability to move the star back! Its not contained in a huge GUI object, so that you can't move it individually anywhere at all in the customizer.
I can't read my own writing until I submit it, it appears. The expected results was supposed to read: I understand that you need to repeat the bad decisions of the competition to attract new users over, but you've also removed the ability to move the star back! Its contained in a huge GUI object, so that you can't move it individually anywhere at all in the customizer.
Nevermind. Despite having tried several times to get the bookmark star to move (close to) "by itself", I finally succeeded in one last try to get it to move (in the customization) before converting over to a plugin that would overload my browser even more, but let me put it back in the URL entry area. Moving the (grouped) star and the "show your bookmarks" together next to the URL entry area seems close enough.
