Details

Whether I try to launch the Viewer App, the finder menu disappears and
everything is frozen. I can't even Force Quit the application. Tried several
times after restarting, but no luck.

M7 worked fine (relatively speaking) and did not cause any crashes on Viewer App
launch... I can't even get M8 to load. Have not changed any extensions since

Works just fine for me. Sounds like M8 was DOA.

I can't reproduce this with M8 on my Macine (G3/400, Mac OS 8.6). What hardware
configuration did this problem occur on?
