Password are actually handled per server no per site. Site would be for example
www.hotmail.com which has several servers:
http://lc1.law5.hotmail.passport.com
http://lc3.law5.hotmail.passport.com
...
I would like to see either the possibility to define a site (broader definition)
or a group of servers that use the same password.
If this enhancement is not done, perhaps the word site should be renamed in
server in the password manager.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a hotmail account
2. Go to Go to http://lc1.law5.hotmail.passport.com
3. Log in
4. Put password put in password mnanager
5. Go to Go to http://lc3.law5.hotmail.passport.com
Actual Results: Password is not recognised.
Expected Results: Password is recognized and/or possibility to identify the
server as being the same site.

see Bug 92966 - "store password" should be able to store a password for a whole
domain
Also the case if there are more than one site on the same server, such as user
accounts with HTTP Auth. e.g.:
www.example.com/~site1/
www.example.com/~site2/
should be given the option to treat as either the same or different sites because
www.example.com/mail/
www.example.com/calendar/
may actually be the same site.
Or is this a separate bug?
