Expected results: showing horizontal scrollbar.

This is about lack of a scrollbar off to the left? That will appear if the site sets dir="rtl" on its root element, but for ltr sites overflow to the left doesn't trigger a scrollbar, because it's common for such sites to position content off the left edge to "hide" it. :(
