Hi Jürgen,
i found a solution, you can read there: http://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=913391#p913391
Me (and some other german users) had have the same error on Windows 7, 64 bit.
Solution: Options/Privacy/ Privacy Settings/
Uncheck box for Browsing & Download History
Works for german users as well!

I suspect this has to do with deleting history when closing Firefox, and so I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug 1005487. Please reopen if disabling that setting doesn't fix the issue (obviously, it should work whatever the case, but we'll track all of that in bug 1005487).

Hi Hero,
i have looked "Preferences -> Privacy -> History"
"Clear history when ..." was selected
And under "Settings" "Browsing & Download .." was not selected.
