Hi Jürgen, i found a solution, you can read there: http://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=913391#p913391 Me (and some other german users) had have the same error on Windows 7, 64 bit. Solution: Options/Privacy/ Privacy Settings/ Uncheck box for Browsing & Download History Works for german users as well!
I suspect this has to do with deleting history when closing Firefox, and so I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug 1005487. Please reopen if disabling that setting doesn't fix the issue (obviously, it should work whatever the case, but we'll track all of that in bug 1005487).
