User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140314220517
Steps to reproduce:
I used a mask property on an element at http://localhost:3000/blog/posts/2014/01-10-fast-interactive_prototyping_with_d3_js.html
Actual results:
The content of the SVG does not display properly (it displays if I remove the mask) : the content of the masked region is not clipped, but shown in black
Expected results:
The mask should only clip a region and should display the content through, this works correctly in Google chrome

Links that contain localhost are not vey useful to us. Can you provide a testcase, ideally as an attachment in bugzilla. Please also try Firefox trunk to see if your issue is already fixed there: http://nightly.mozilla.org/

It works better with the nightly build, but there are still CSS & SVG rendering issues compared to Chrome in particular try http://snips.net/blog/posts/2014/05-04-fast-interactive_prototyping_with_d3_js_II.html

I don't see a mask tag in the source for http://snips.net/blog/posts/2014/05-04-fast-interactive_prototyping_with_d3_js_II.html
Could you create the simplest possible standalone testcase that shows an issue an attach it to the bug please?
