1006504 - IMAP on Win 8.1 broken?

Steps to reproduce:

I have 24.5.0 installed on Win XP, Win 7 and Win 8.1 machines. I use IMAP.




Actual results:

All works fine on Win XP and Win 7.
However on Win 8.1: 
1) I sometimes get error messages ("Der Server hat die Verbindung abgebrochen", "Der aktuelle Vorgang ist fehlgeschlagen") when accessing (selecting) some of the emails. The behavious is reproducible: If accessing a specific email works fine, it always works fine. If accessing a specific email does not work, it never works.
2) I have an email in my inbox with 14 attachments. When I click on "Alle Speichern" (Save all), only the first attached file is saved. When I Forward this email, the forwarded email also only contains the first attachment. No error message is shown.

I copied the same Profile between the machines for testing and also set up a new one to be sure that the Profile is not broken, but the Problem always turns up on the Win 8 machine.


Expected results:

The behaviour should be the same on all machines. May the IMAP Server is broken, but in this case, at least I would expect that an error message is shown when the second problem turns up.

This behavious is caused by Email protection service of the Avira Internet Security Suite...
