100693 - bookmarks in the sidebar don't appear

When the bookmarks tab in the sidebar is selected the bookmarks don't appear. 
The bookmarks drop-down menus work properly, but the bookmarks in the sidebar do
not appear.  The only thing that is in the place of where the bookmarks ought to
be is a white space.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Sidebar
2. Click on bookmarks
3. sit and look and the white space where the bookmarks are supposed to be...

Actual Results:  When the bookmarks are clicked on the space where the bookmarks
are supposed to appear remains white. I wait for a while, but the bookmarks
never appear. 

Expected Results:  One should be able to select the tab for the bookmarks in the
sidebar and the bookmarks should quickly appear.
