ZTE Open 1.1 won't boot. Fastboot not working. Unable to update via SD Card. Any exploit there so I can get root?

I have this ZTE Open from eBay.
After a failed OTA update:
1. It won't boot, since it stucks on Firefox logo at startup.
2. It has debug mode enabled, so I CAN adb shell.
3. It CAN enter into fastboot mode, but fastboot will fail [1], so I can't flash anything. I can't even fastboot boot recovery.img
4. It is un-rooted, so I can't install cwm.img [2]
5. It is on 1.1, so the method for 1.0 [3] won't work.
6. When trying to update via SDcard it just give me "E:Failed to load keys. Installation aborted.", it's not even trying.
7. ZTE's nand flash tool [4] just does not work. Maybe it uses something similar to fastboot that is also broken?
So... I'm looking for:
a) some way to do a low-level flash (TPT? is ZTE's nand equal to TPT?)
b) some (new exploit?) way to get root, so I can install cwm via adb. Remember this device is on 1.1
Any ideas? :)

Working only on 1.0. Exploit on 1.1 seems to be fixed
