A new property, generated_by, has been added to the json structure submitted by b2g perf. It contains the b2g perf test runner version, this needs to be displayed in the UI when a user selects a data point.
We think the tool for downloading specific versions of b2gperf solves the problem we're having. Basically we know the date of a regression and need to install the correct version of b2gperf and its dependencies so that we can bisect. Dave, does your tool solve the problem? If so, then we don't need to explicitly expose the b2gperf version to help get the right one downloaded and installed.

Dave, if you agree your tool solves this problem, please close out this bug as won't fix.

We now have b2gperf branches for v1.3 and v1.4, with respective PyPI releases (see bug 994176). Is that what you mean? I still think it would be useful to indicate the tool/version that generated results in Datazilla.
