I've got two pop accounts. I came back from lunch today, composed a new message,
and noticed that my sig was missing. went into Account Settings, and the sig
path string for that account was blank. put it in again, closed Account
Settings, tried to compose again. still no sig. exited and restarted the machine
(I'm running -turbo, so this seemed better), went into mailnews, and THE ENTIRE
SECOND ACCT HAD DISAPPEARED FROM THE FOLDER PANE.
all evidence of the second account also missing from Account Settings.
but all the mail data is still on the disk. phew.
I'm going to do a backup before I do anything else.

I see that 95791 is a tracking bug for multiple acct issues.
I've proposed severity:critical, since losing a mail acct is a damn scary experience

followup.
I've just checked prefs.js, and I still seem to have all the entries in there
that relate to the second account.

further info:
after backing up, I re-added the account details using the wizard.
the new account immediately picked up my old folders, filter rules, but all my
mail compose settings ( my sig, html mail prefs) were LOST.

How long were you running in Turbo mode? Was your profile new or migrated. If
migrated then can you remember what build you used to migrate it with? Just
trying to determine how to duplicate the problem.

Marking these all WORKSFORME sorry about lack of response but were very
overloaded here. Only reopen the bug if you can reproduce with the following steps:
1) Download the latest nightly (or 0.9.6 which should be out RSN)
2) Create a new profile
3) test the bug again
If it still occurs go ahead and reopen the bug. Again sorry about no response
were quite overloaded here and understaffed.
