Details

On composer, when clicking "table" on the toolbar above the main composer toolbar, click on "join with cell to the right" (you must ofcourse have a simple preexisting table already established) Cells will join appropriately. Then click "split cell" and cells will split appropriately. However, when you choose "join with cell to the right" again cell will not join to the one on the right as preferred. It only allows it once.

You're probably right. I think the fix for bug 96668 fixed this as well. I can't reproduce it today.

Oops! I jumped too quick. The fix for bug 96668 isn't checked in yet, but will be today, so let's leave this as fixed for now and verify in a few days.
