I could'nt, Norwegian Bokmål does not exist.

I would like to request that you add the no-BM as a new localization in Verbatim. The langauge is Norsk (Bokmål).

I think we usually use ISO 639-1 locale codes, so it would be 'nb' not 'no-BM'. We also don't usually use the territory code unless there's a need to have very different translations for different geographies. With that modification, please go ahead.

If we match Firefox's language codes [1], which I believe we usually do, this would be "nb-NO".

FWIW Django uses "nb" for the Norsk Bokmål translations, but MDN seems to be using Firefox's languages for some of the locales. That type of inconsistency needs to be cleared up before we make things worse.

Note that MDN now has a defined process for starting new localizations: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Localize/Starting_a_localization
If there is still interest in this locale, please take a look, and reach out to the MDN community (as noted in that article).
Other projects in Pontoon use nb-NO, so I guess we should use that too.

The current situation is that Pontoon supports these languages:
Norwegian Bokmål (nb-NO)
https://pontoon.mozilla.org/nb-NO/
Norwegian Nynorsk (nn-NO)
https://pontoon.mozilla.org/nn-NO/
Both appear active on Pontoon, with a lot of overlap between teams and the same manager. If the translation team wants to take on MDN, they can follow the process for starting a localization.
I'm closing this request, because 1) it's very stale, 2) there is no "no-BM" team on Pontoon, so that would be needed first.
