1008893 - "Activesync" doesn't translate into other language in account type in manual set up in Email

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/12.04 Chromium/18.0.1025.151 Chrome/18.0.1025.151 Safari/535.19

Steps to reproduce:

1,change the language into other language,such as bn-BD
2,Email->manual setup->Account Type
3,ActiveSync should show in bn-BD,not in English.


Actual results:

ActiveSync shows in English.


Expected results:

'ActiveSync' should show in the language you choose.

We somewhat intentionally left the protocols untranslated in cases like this because it seems like the protocol is effectively an opaque identifier.  For the specific case of the manual setup page, we are expecting in the primary case that the user would be following instructions provided by their ISP, so the question is really what the ISP instructions would be.  If the ISP instructions say ActiveSync, then I think we'd still use it, although maybe we should be allowing translators to wrap the string in some quoting construct that indicates that "ActiveSync" is a foreign technical term?

Can you elaborate on what the bn-BD translation would be for this and how the ActiveSync protocol is referred to in bn-BD by ISPs?

Thank you for your reply.I have checked that 'ActiveSync' is one of the protocols,and we don't translate it on Android either.I should close this bug.Thank you very much!
