PC with Mozilla installed, Win98 connected via ethernet LAN to an NT Server. The server is connected to the internet via standard modem dial up. Server running analogx proxy server. Server is also running IIS-4 and has about 20 active web sites. When browsing the local server (named vogon) i.e. http://vogon/ this displayed the root of the web server as expected, clicking on the displayed links of local webs displayed the site properly. (The root displays an http directory listing, there is no index page deliberately) The top of the page simply has the text "vogon - /" When clicking on the mozilla icon button at the upper right, instead of going to the mozilla site, onlt the text changed at the top of the browser window to "www.mozilla.org - /" The rest of the page remained unchanged. I was able to click on a few bookmarks and get the proper page to load from the www. I also had a few occasions where after viewing www.mozilla.org when clicking the bookmark for http://vogon/ the browser instead loaded www.vogon.com (This domain has nothing to do with my system, it is a co-incidence that it matches my chosen local computer name.) It seems to be possibly related to an error on reading/writing to cache. (this is my guess)

This is probably a DNS problem. Do you know how this is setup?

After further testing, this bug is reproducible, but seems to be directly related to the proxy server software being used (AnalogX Proxyi) When using MS internet connection sharing the problem does not occur. Although since other browsers do not experience this problem I believe it to be at least a minor bug in mozilla.
