We need to expose the total # of clicks on links per category.

Just wanted to check the progress report on getting clicks on links per category setup. This data is super valuable so I'd love to get it up soon.

Specifically, we could really use click data for:

1) firefox for android
2) firefox for desktop
3) button clicks in general
4) button clicks on facebook

Are there any big blockers preventing this from happening? Is there anything we can do to help with this process and get this data up and available ASAP?

While not ideal, this can currently be seen on the Affiliates homepage: https://affiliates.mozilla.org/en-US/

This is a bit out-of-scope for this particular bug, and the Facebook section of the site is slated to be removed anyway (which may not be documented anywhere, but arose from discussions with Chelsea a while ago), so I don't think there's much point in adding this.

I can commit to starting work on this feature by next Wednesday at the latest, and getting it pushed out by Friday at the latest. It's simply a matter of clearing out higher-priority work on other projects.

The most useful thing you can do is assign priorities to Affiliates bugs to let us know which features are most important. As of right now tracking downloads is top priority on my list, but given this is small and having the data sooner is super-useful I've marked this as P1.

https://affiliates.allizom.org/admin/banners/category/ is where the link clicks will show up (on the staging server, so don't worry if the numbers look wrong, it's just test data). Also note that link clicks will be 0 for parent categories.
