Steps to reproduce:
On today branch 2.29 version, impossible to compose new email: window allows input of email address and title, but body text is unaccessible. Also impossible to choose «from» list of sender. I join a screenshot.

Confirming on Windows version 20140513.
Same problem when editing a draft message. No mail composition possible.

With today build, problem was gone.
