Other sites that are using our generic version (called 20-20 3D Player Web)
http://homebase.2020.net/planner/UI/Pages/VPUI.htm
http://magnetplanner.2020.net/virtualplanner/UI/Pages/VPUI.htm
Also, we have a Mac version as well. Example URL for this is:

Note that plugins bundled in extensions will activate automatically (per bug 982101) and don't require white-listing.

Ah yes, I missed that. This should continue to work without issues (please verify by downloading and trying the beta at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#beta).

Thank you Georg and Benjamin. We are seeing a problem with the installation where the plugin detection is not seeing the plugin installed after browser restart. We think this is due to another change, possibly new in FF30, where the navigator.plugins does not include our plugin anymore? I'm referencing this documentation:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/NavigatorPlugins.plugins
Can you confirm this behavior is new in FF30 and was not present in FF29 as the article states?

Yes, that is an unrelated change, bug 757726, and we're actually backing it out because of web compat concerns. We still encourage you to use navigator.mimeTypes["application/x-2020playerstream-web"] in preference to navigator.plugin enumeration, because we may try again to remove navigator.plugins enumeration in a year or so.
