1010115 - Incorrect OS X "focus" styling on in-content UI buttons (e.g. netError & prefs)

With today's Nightly on Mac OS X, enter a bad address such as http://www.mozi11a.org/ in the URL bar and press Return to go there.

This results in a "Server not found" error page.

The "Try Again" button is focused, so that simply pressing Return will re-try (good!).

However, its focused state is indicated by a dotted outline inside the border of the button (bad!). This looks out-of-place and ugly on OS X. Screenshot attached.

Jonathan, would something like how we've outlined in Project Chameleon work for you? http://people.mozilla.org/~jgruen/chameleon/#nav1

The look of it would be tailored to the existing style found on neterror and not the new one being developed in Project Chameleon.

My first impression is that the "buttons" shown there don't really look much like "buttons" on OS X. Which leaves me a bit unclear what that project is about... a bit earlier on the page it says "This project is not a redesign or style overhaul", yet those proposed buttons certainly look like a redesign to me!

But that's not the issue I was raising here: my concern here was not the design of the button, but the fact that it's being given a dotted "focus" outline inside the overall button border, and that looks wrong on OS X -- it's not an expected convention on the platform. It's not clear to me whether/how the chameleon page answers that.
