Steps to reproduce:

* Add-ons Manager
* Shockwave Flash - Ask to Activate

1. (go to) http://espn.go.com/watchespn/
2. (menu select) NETWORK - espn3
3. (click select) Live Now - any event



Actual results:

* Nothing happens.



Expected results:

* prompt appears for "Allow espn.go.com" to run "Adobe Flash"
* prompt does appear if Always Activate mode is used

Also, manually clicking on the plugin icon (URL bar) and allowing flash, allows flash popup window when an espn3 event is selected.

This bug is confusing.

When you load the watchespn/ URL, do you see an "Active Adobe Flash" box anywhere on the page? I do on the right, though I'm not sure whether it's an advertisement or something else.

If there is a visible plugin displaying "Activate Adobe Flash" on the screen, we don't show a separate prompt on the top of the screen. This is the expected behavior.

I'm not sure whether comment 1 is reporting a separate bug or a workaround.

There is a "Allow espn.go.com ..." popup bar that disappears almost immediately.

(By the way, there are too many modes and dis-joint steps for click-to-activate -- another bug report.)

Actually, the preferred result should be when I select an event, it should launch a flash window with "Activate Adobe Flash" switch.

In my case, it disappears because there is visible Flash on the page. Can you verify that is the case for you as well?

We don't control the website, so we can't change when or whether it decides to pop up the subwindow. That's one of the reasons that CtA is per-domain and not per-page.

There is one ad Adobe Flash window.  Avoiding ad plays is why I use Ask to Activate.

In the past, clicking on an event launched a player window.  That window had click to play switch.  I
think starting with 28, I no longer get this action.  So I have to manually enable flash before I click
on an event.  So this is a major behavior change.

This is working as intended. I don't know whether the site JS changed, but we didn't change any code relating to the popup window.
