RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1010783

People

(Reporter: crossroads1112, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140518030203

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Google Drive
2. Open a Google Doc
3. Clear cache or, while the page is loading, refresh while ignoring cache (R if using vimperator, Ctrl + F5 if you aren't)
4. Reopen Google Doc

NOTE: on a fresh profile this only occurs if the website in question is cached (i.e. this isn't the first time you've visited it since clearing your cache)

Actual results:

First, Google Drive itself gets stuck on "Loading" until page is refreshed ignoring cache.
Once the Google doc is opened, you are redirected to this page https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050

After cache is cleared, it works normally but you will need to clear your cache everytime you want to open a doc.

Expected results:

Google Drive and Google Docs should open normally without requiring cache to be cleared.

Temporary workaround: Turn off caching by seting network.http.open-cache to false
Severity: normal → major
Component: Untriaged → General
Problem persists with all addons disabled
This looks like problem with CacheV2, we see this on Gmail, while loading simply stuck in middle of Gmail progress bar, only CTRL F5 helps, confirmed also here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=13563035#p13563035 Post: 2, 3, just look at discussion there.
This should be fixed by bug 1010783, which is on inbound and waiting to be merged to central (will probably be in tomorrow's Nightly).
