Repro: 1. create folder in Personal Bar 2. drag any link from page (or bookmark icon from location windows) and try to place bookmark inside bookmark folder 3. folder don't popup and you can place bookmark only before/after folder in Personal Bar Always. Gecko/2001092308
Confirm on w2k/2001092308 (0.9.4+). Was working with 0.9.4 if I am not mistaken.
Yes, it was working also in several next nightbuilds after M094.
Confirming on build 2001092403 on Win2K. Perhaps related to why bug 92523 is now working?

Chris, you mention 'I think this was caused by Blake Ross's Persoal Toolbar drop-insersion rewrite.' You know which part of the code is involved so we can have a look? Furthermore, somebody should perhaps add him on the CC and add the regression keyword.

Is this a duplicate of bug 100479?
Bug 100479 only talks about Personal Toolbar folders not opening, this bug talks about the fact that Personal Toolbar folders are no longer drop targets (like they used to be). Bug 100479 is an RFE, while this bug is a regression.

I hate this bug. I [used to] use this feature a lot. I find it practical to create a folder, fill it with bookmarks then move my folder around with Bookmarks Manager. I really would like to help but my questions have not been answered :( I've added Blake Ross in the CC list, as he may know what's going on.
