When I type "mail.google.com" and hit enter, Gmail often does not fully load.  Instead, it sits at the "Loading continuation@gmail.com..." step, with the bar partially full.  This does not happen all of the time, but I'd say happens at least half of the time.  By doing a force reload, I am able to load the page.  If I disable the new cache by setting browser.cache.use_new_backend_temp to false in about:config and restarting, Gmail loads just fine.
