The E-Mail app regressed in memory usage from ~102mb to ~112 mb. Here is the datazilla link: https://datazilla.mozilla.org/b2g/?branch=master&device=hamachi&range=7&test=email_memory&app_list=system_rss&app=system_rss&gaia_rev=1609e724e10ca78b&gecko_rev=cb9f34f73ebe&plot=median Known Good Gaia / Gecko: Gaia Revision: 8f2d5dec11514ef5 Gecko Revision: 41a54c8add09 Bad Gaia / Gecko: Gaia Revision: 1a76ae328d057862 Gecko Revision: 41a54c8add09

Looking here: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/commits/master/apps/email There was only one commit between the 19th and the 20th: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/commit/ff72fa9b8853800a694f290040cc790581efb970 which is just a localization file change. So my first guess is some other larger gaia or platform change.

This shows the same problem as bug 1013387. This is with the Email app going to the FTU experience, so it shouldn't be doing anything. As we see, every time we run make test-perf, the system.rss and system.pss are roughly the same between the good / bad gaia revisions. From the b2g-info data, it looks pretty much the same after a boot up, and the EMail app itself looks better on the bad gaia. Resolving as invalid.
