Lets setup an bridge in europe, probably london office.

Richard: just want to confirm this will allow us to mostly automate the vidyo > airmoz situation for regular streams. In any case it will be useful to have an easier way to do this rather than messing about at the AV desk.

The big advantage of using a Cyberspace bridge is that you don't have to fire up the whole Commons space to run a virtual event.   I don't know that it qualifies as "mostly automated", but its the platform that I'm focusing on to increase automation for these sorts of things.   (Automation suggestions welcomed!).

There are three mac minis in the machine room in the London office that are from the Mobile Kit.  W0ts0n can show you where they are (he put them on the network for me).  If you are on the VOIOP vLAN (e.g. plugged into the switch on the production desk) they are reachable by ARD or VNC at:

10.246.26.133
10.246.26.171
10.246.26.24

There should be a fourth machine at 10.246.26.138, but it shows as "offline" in my ARD master list.

Use the 26.171 machine as the Wirecast machine as it has 16 GB of RAM.  Use any of the others as the Desktop Vidyo machine.   

There are (or were) 4 BlackMagic Ultrastudios on the shelf in the machine room as well.  Use one of those as the video capture device.  (If they're gone, order a Blackmagic Mini Recorder instead, they're way cheaper and work just as well.)

Order the Korg nanoKontrol2 through Service Now.  (Available from Amazon).

Let me know when you're ready and I'll dig up the appropriate license keys and set up a publishing point.
