Steps to reproduce:
try to open the newest Version after installing it, doesn't start and brings an error message, as Thunderbird doesn't start, I'm not sure, if the error Report is really sended or not
deinstalling the newest Version and installing 24.0.1. hepls and the error doens't happen. Tried also some Versions between, which doesn't work also. The Report is always the same as below.

An addition, which may usefull: the disk number e:/ in the error report, where it searches the file, doesn't really exist. The normal hard disk is c:/ on my pc. There is Thunderbird installed. Under the letter e:/ is sometimes a transportable hard disk connected for making backups.
