What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible. ================================================================================== Make sure that the edit page doesn't allow users to set a maximum rendering age lower than, say, 5 minutes. What problems would this solve? =============================== This will ensure that we don't wind up with pages set to update every second or something like that, which would be an unnecessary burden on the system. Who would use this? =================== Page editors. What would users see? ===================== Ideally, this would be implemented in tandem with bug 989089, by restricting how low the time interval can be set to. What would users do? What would happen as a result? =================================================== No real change, since the UX would prevent the user from setting the value too low. Is there anything else we should know? ======================================

Summary: Set a minimum max render age and enforce it in UI → Users should not be able to specify a max render age less than 5 minutes
Whiteboard: [specification][type:change] → [specification][type:change][LOE:S]
The UI has been updated to enforce a minimum time of 15 minutes, or zero for no auto-rebuilds. Not sure exactly when it was done, but this can be closed regardless.
