The button for selecting which certificate to use (automatic or ask every time) in build 2001091303 does not stick on my Dell 8100. So it automatically selects the wrong certificate and I cannot manage my certificate server! It does work on my laptop, however.
I downloaded tonight's build 2001092403 and still cannot set the certificate button. It clicks, but both radio buttons are always unselected when I return to the setting menu

I found out what causes this. Entrust (which should not do anything with Mozilla or Netscaoe 6) changed the pref.js file for the certificate security items. the lines user_pref("security.default_mail_cert", "Ask Every Time"); user_pref("security.default_personal_cert", "Ask Every Time"); Had "My EntrustCertificate" instead of "Ask Every Time" (which I restored manually). However, this should not break the GUI....

I'm having the same problems (pref won't stick) but I'm not using entrust... How did you fic it exactly? adding thise two lines didn't fix it :(
Hmz it seems that I'm talking about mail/news and you about the general certificates....

Worksforme. The original bug, to select a cert to use automatically or Ask every time, is fixed. I have opened bug 118586 due to mailto:j.houwing@student.utwente.nl's comments.
