User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140521030200 Steps to reproduce: Started typing on the awesome bar, a website result appeared and it autoselected so the preview (rounded corners) page appeared. Actual results: After manually selecting it the page can't be controlled and the rounded corners are still there. Expected results: Hide the rounded corners and use the page as normal.

Isn't "awesomebar preview" an add-on of sorts? Otherwise, can you clarify what you mean?

Considering that add-on seems to have been discontinued, if there is no other way to reproduce this issue, I don't think we can fix this. E10s breaks a lot of assumptions of add-on code that it can talk directly to content. If add-ons aren't updated, there's not a lot we can do about that.

Hrm, but looks like you really meant https://blog.mozilla.org/labs/2010/12/awesome-bar-previews-for-faster-surfing/ and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/prospector-instant-preview/ which is not quite dead. Moving to mozilla labs.

Ed, is this still under development and/or is this the right place for this issue?

Mozilla Labs add-on compatibility doesn't block e10s.

Ed, the add-on hasn't been touched in over 3 years. Should I just mark it as incompatible? Are there other Labs add-ons in the same boat?

No idea. We can only wait for Ed to respond, or mark the add-on as incompatible eventually.

Hi Nick, Hi Ed - how does Mozilla Labs relate to Test Pilot? is it just being deprecated so we should only worry about Test Pilot add-on being e10s compatible?

I would think all the Labs add-ons from before the new Test Pilot aren't being updated, so no e10s compatibility.
