Type non-ascii characters "あかさたな" in the search box of Quick Filter Toolbar. 2. Close the window. 3. Reopen Thunderbird. Actual results: The text in the search box is garbled into "BKU_j". Expected results: The text in the search box is still "あかさたな".

Thanks Ryusei for reporting. Indeed. Already on recor as bug 621933, which got stuck somewhere along the road. (In reply to Ryusei Yamaguchi from comment #0) Full STR: 0. On Quick Filter bar, enable "Keep filters applied when switching folders" > 1. Type non-ascii characters "あかさたな" in the search box of Quick Filter > Toolbar. > 2. Close Thunderbird. > 3.
