Steps to reproduce:

Go to Tools > Add-ons.  
Select the Get Add-ons panel.  
Click into the Search box on the top.    
Enter part of a common add-on's name, such as:   
block Plu for Adblock Plus  
 

    Press Enter or click magnifying glass on the right of the search box.

    You should be presented with matching add-ons, like (1) Cooliris (2) Adblock Plus (3) Firebug.



Actual results:

no search results at all


Expected results:

At least, Adblock Plus should be in search results

Searches are word delimited.  You'll need to search for at least a word.  If it just searched strings you'd get way too many false positives.  ("plu" would match plus, plural, plug, plump, earplug, nonplussed, pluckiness, plunge, etc. etc.)
