As per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1013023, please verify the ES settings prevent using swap.

My naive Googling uncovered the following suggestions: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1013023#c7
Set vm.swappiness to 1, as setting it to 0 in newer kernals can lead to the OOM killer nuking a process.
