I see different rendering of the hamburger icon on html5test.com in Chrome and in Firefox. I personally like the Chrome one, just wondering if this is a bug or a choice to render the hamburger icon like this.

I'm not sure if the discrepancy in the rendering of the Medium logo too is because of this bug, but it sure looks related. Can you the the attention of the right people on this bug?

Could someone from the web compat team take a look at this. There is a different rendering for desktop Firefox using the Fx Android user agent than using Firefox for Android.

Apparently this is due to the default user agent CSS for Desktop and Android defining different background values for button elements: In content.css[1] on FxA: background: linear-gradient(rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.2) 0px, rgba(215, 215, 215, 0.5) 18px, rgba(115, 115, 115, 0.5) 100%) repeat scroll 0% 0% #FFF; If you apply "background: none" to body > div#index button#indexbutton[2] the gradient goes away. An easy pull request for someone wanting to boost their GitHub stats. :P [1] http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/mobile/android/themes/core/content.css#134 [2] https://github.com/NielsLeenheer/html5test/blob/version-5.1/css/main.css#L369
