Step to reproduce
Enter edit mode.
Drag an icon through the other icons.
Stop moving but keep dragging.
Wait 1 second.

Actual result
You have to wait 1 second before seeing where your dragged icon may land.

Expected result
A preview of the result should be more immediate (< 1 second ?) on the Flame device.
Summary: [Vertical Homescreen] Animation takes times to be triggered when moving an icon → [Vertical Homescreen] Preview takes nearly 1 second to be rendered when moving an icon
This implementation is intentional. The idea is that we want to match the old home screen, and have some delay before moving the icons, and collapsing dividers while moving an icon. It's more difficult topsoil ion an icon when there is no delay.

I'm going to close this for now, but we can check with product/ux to see what they think. We definitely need some delay here, but maybe we can shorten it.
